Question about control arms

I built a 56 F100 on a 72 C10 chassie and was wondering if it would be possible to shorten the control arms to narrow the track width. I've already purchased the new modular spindles from CPP which has helped some but the tire is still quite close to the fender. Thought I'd ask this question to see if it were possible and if it would throw the geometry way out of wack. I currently have the stock 6 x15" rims but with the modular spindles they seem to rub the lower control arm when turned lock to lock.

I would recommend the Porterbuilt arms which can be built 1" narrower for your needs. They can be made for an air bag or coil spring application. Let me know if you need a set or need further help, as we are a Porterbuilt dealer.

Thanks, this was the information I was hoping to get, that someone actually makes this provision in control arms. Right now I'm in the process of wiring my truck and assembling it now that I have it painted. I'm in the hopes of getting it road ready for next summer but have had those hopes for the last couple years but this is as close as I've ever been. What would a set of control arms cost to fit the stock crossmember and coil springs and what all is included? Much appreciation for your responses.
