Emissions delete question???

I have a 84 k10 with a 79 5.7L 350 motor in it. I am removing all the emissions stuff and was wondering my dist. vacuum line is going to the ported vacuum port on the carb witch is a edelbrock 1406 carb. Since it will be just a straight line from the dist to the carb do I hook it up to the full time vacuum port on the carb or hook it back up to the ported vacuum port?

Re: Emissions delete question???

It can depend on the build of your motor, tranny and such. But typically for a truck ported is better.

The motor is all stock and I have the 700R4 tranny. Should I have a check valve on the vacuum hose running from the dist to the carb?
