Does anyone know anywhere that sells fender flares that will fit my 70 chevy truck? I looked on summit racing and jc witney and nothing, they start at 73 and newer. would like about a 2in wide ones.

I'm also trying to find a visor for my truck and the local acc. store said lund dont offer them for this bodystyle anymore. So I called summit and they got a moonvisor made by Keystone Restyling that will fit my year of truck. I got on their website and checked it out and it's what I want, then I checked the application and it said 68- 86 suburban. So the question is does anybody have one and if you do how does it fit/ look? I assume that it's a multi fit and some times those just dont look right .

I do have a lund one that came off my 80 chevy and I sat it on the 70 and lets just say the fit was not there.

Bushwacker use to make the cut out flares for the 67-72 but don't anymore.

I checked everywhere for flairs. Truck candy's inventory said they still had some. A week after ordering them I got my $ refunded. No longer availible. Thinking about making some of my own as soon as I get my 1/2 scale Blazer ATV body done. Would really like to make them out of carbon fiber. Think it would look good on a black body.

As for a visor, I know I had a Lund on my '69, but it came on the truck so not sure if it was for that aplication or not. Did look good though!

Just find some for round well openings close to the same. Bus conversions use them and you could contour the back to fit the body. They flex,also. How about 92-96 Ford? Bushwacker Extend-A-Fenders give about 2".

That's what I was thinking of for a starting point. F450 pocket flairs. They are 4 1/2", which is almost enough to make mine legal. One of these days I'll order a set to see how they fit.

How much of a hurry are you in for a visor? I've got a lund visor on my truck that I was really looking to take off of the truck. When I do that though, I'll have to weld the holes shut and have the roof and windshield pillars repainted at the very least. This is something I plan on doing, just don't know how soon I'll get to it.

like 69GWC said, JEEP rear flares work great on the rear of 67-72s...they are a bolt-on unless you have lower trim then either the flair or the trim will need trimmed. Dont know what would work for the front of these trucks.
