installing clearence markers?

Hey guys,

My '78 is getting a new cab and I want to throw some clearence markers up top before she goes on.

What is the best way to route the wires?

I'm hoping for them to be minimally visible if not invisible, but i don't want to spend 76 hours fishing them through the roof.

does anybody have a trick?

Yes, there is a trick. It's very easy if you know how.

Re: installing clearence markers?

thats a good trick, thanks!!

how did you run the wire from marker to marker? Did you run each marker's power right to the top of the pillar, or did you daisy chain the wire?

Re: installing clearence markers?

I daisy chained the power wire across to all 5 lights. Each light had a ground wire which I put under the mounting screws. I kind of went OCD on the whole deal by using rivnuts and stainless mounting screws.
