VERY NICE!
Amazing detail.
Those brake lines look perfect.

What gas tank is that?

It's a Boyd Welding (Boyd's).....I mounted it on top instead of on the bottom of the frame rails.

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember Mild Pictures

I see CPP Modular spindles, big brakes, LS engine mounts, and 20/22 Vintecs.

Is the new owner a member here?
What year truck is going on this chassis?

What kind of a notch in the bed is required?

Killer chassis.

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember Mild Pictures

I plan to do the mild rear in my next build, it really helps visualize it seeing pictures! One question though whats the difference between the mild dropmember front and the regular one?

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember Mild Pictures

The extreme dropmember will put the frame on the ground with a 27" tall tire on the front, this one is about 2.5" off the ground and doesn't require a frame notch for the rack.

He's going to raise the floor and use a wood bed kit.

Did you bend the lines? How long does something like that take? Frame looks great and I'm sure the customer will be happy!

It takes about 10 hours to bend all the lines.

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember Mild Pictures

How much lower will this truck be than Stella? Also wondering how much the bed floor will need to be raised for this chassis?

I did another chassis just like this one a few months back and the cab and motor is in it and it gets lower than you think. I will try and get some picture of it posted, it's also a stepside.

What type of brake line bender do you have? I just have a cheap one and its a challenge to get any lines to look good. I'm ready to upgrade!
