I know some people used to add red LED or two to their headlight buckets for a similar effect. The aftermarket reacted and brought things like this to market for the show crowd. Looks cool.

Everybody has halos so that's why I'm making my projector lenses glow instead.
Once the lights are on you don't know they are there. I used som 194 red bulbs the lower ones are getting bleached by the high beam heat so I have some LEDs ready to drop in soon

No the actual lights are off. Those are just for show and such when my low beams are on I usually can light up a fiver lane highway for a football field an a half. You guys really should drive a car with good projectors

You can't really. Projectors are dedicated to either citing the beam and concentrating the light to the cutoff section and high beam projectors basicly have a smaller cutoff that goes on top of the low beam and shines way farther out

Other projector designs have a shield on a cylinoid that when you click on high beams the shield drops away and your cutoff is gone. This design is really only good for blinding people and seing the trees and bushes a lil more

Look up the retrofitsource the have many diff projectors

I have the Morimoto Mini projectors on my Honda, love em. They have the high beam function but I haven't hooked it up yet.

Thanks having them fixed with LEDs so the red is a lil brighter and more red and even in brightness. And a shutoff switch has been added

@chevybuilder18...that's a phantom grille. I plan on putting in halo style headlights on my truck too.

Ah very nice unit those are. I think mine are the biggest projectors made haha the lens in mine measure a whopping 4 inches. So they barely fit in the housings haha
