The little tab locates itself in the hole where the original shock stud was located.

I just drilled in my Porterbuilt front shock brackets. Looks very similar to yours.

Good question, I'm not sure though because i will be running custom inners.

I am waiting for my porterbuilts still no sign of them but can't wait. And u may need to trim slightly from what I have read every where but not much with stock inners

I made a set of front shock mounts out of some S/S we had laying around. I use stock length shocks up front. I had to trim the inner fender just a small amount for them to work. Cost $0.00 well except for my time. I've had them now almost 5 years on the truck.

The only modification we did was slightly bent the inner so that the shock would clear you cant even noticed it..

noticed you have firestone lookin bags in there, nothing wrong with them at all, i love them, but as a heads up they ride a bit soft, like cadi soft. when you get your truck running, and by the looks of the calipers if you want to really get her sideways the slam bags are similiar specs but ride is much firmer.

I bought mine from porterbuilt a member on here for $99 that was after shipping but it was over 3 weeks ago when they said they were going to ship them out :shrug:

Not high tech but I made mine out of some S/S I had.
They have been on the truck for several years. Running stock length shocks to.

The bags are the ones that came with my kit from ride tech. I finished the install last year in December I have put around 3k miles on the truck since and it rides 100% better than what I had one there with the ECE 4/6 drop kit. thanks for the heads up on the slam bags once these give if ever I will look into them.

Help me out here guys - how does the shock mount to the brackets? The does the eye unscrew from the top of the shock or something? The stock stud type mount is what I'm used to seeing.

It uses a different style shock. Not the eye to eye that its used from the factory.

Thanks. Are front shock relocators available for the eye type shocks? Are they needed?

My Driver Seeing the USA in a 71 Upstate SC GM Truck Club 2013,14 and 2016 Hot Rod Pour Tour http://upstategmtrucks.com/ Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun! It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
