BBC headers 3"to 2 1/4" too small?
ive got a 454 im fixing to build, and wanted opinions. ive got a set of headers that are 2" at the heads, with a 3" collector. ive got a brandnew set of flowmaster 40s that are 2 1/4 in in and out, are these too small to use? i thought about running 3in pipe back under it and then reducing down to the mufflers. think this would restrict much or hurt power? thanks

Yea, I would try to run 2.5" at least. They might be able to swell the inlets on them to that.
