Ranger Floor Jacks
So my floor jack started acting funny, not going down etc. So I figured I'd try and fix it......that didn't work other than getting coated in Hydro oil. I am now looking for a new one and I don't want no imported junk. I found Ranger which is a branch of Bend Pak. Any of you guys have one of these jacks?

Re: Ranger Floor Jacks
After searching the online blogs, there seems to be mixed reactions to the Ranger jacks.
BendPac does have a good reputation for their lifts (many here have them). I'm also interested in any testamonials from members here on the jacks. As for country of manufacture, they seem to be keeping it a secret. The only jack I ever heard of as being made solely in the US with US materials is Hein Werner. Great jacks but very, very pricey. Subscribed.

Re: Ranger Floor Jacks
I could be wrong but I think the only lift company still building lifts in the U.S. is Mohawk. All others are foreign made. So I'm gonna take a stab and say that their jacks are foreign made as well. I noticed Bend-Pak brags about their huge new facility they are building, but never say where it's actually being built. No mention what so ever of anything to do with the U.S. other than free shipping in the U.S.

I would think that with manufacturing so global now a days, that for even companies that design & assemble tools here, it would be hard to not to use some materials sourced off-shore...not necessarily bad either. A good example would be high quality German sourced steel. .
