Re: removal of my post
I think by forum rules , you have to be a subscribing (paid member ) to ask what it's worth . ( not for sure ). Instead of asking what it's worth ask everyone's opinion on truck. Also add more details about it. Hope I helped.

Is it a shortbed? In Palmdale, I'd guess not much rust? How does it run?

Re: removal of my post
Welcome to the Forum brianr6. Your post was edited because it appeared to be breaking the forum rules. Just so you understand, you may ask the value of a truck that you are trying to buy. If that turns in to a For Sale/Wanted to Buy type thread it will be removed or edited.
In the future please send a private message to the Forum Staff politely requesting more details if you do not understand the rules and why they were applied. I do not suggest making another similar post that includes calling the Staff members action "a joke". This will only result in an infraction, which could lead to suspension of your account.

Re: removal of my post
Hey brianr6 ...
to the forums and from Ohio. Now back to your truck ... I would first want to know about any rust issues. Rust can be very expensive to repair. One of the key areas of rust for concern is top of the windshield area. Rockers will always have some rust or so it seems. What condition is the bed floor in... Is this a 350? How about transmission? 3 on the tree? I am guessing but if it was an old arm truck most manual transmission. It looks fairly solid. Best of luck

Looks good. 67 with big back window, a/c, v8, no rust and by the looks of it there might be buddy buckets too.

Re: removal of my post
What is your ultimate goal with the truck...Restoration? Show truck? Daily driver? Work truck?

Re: removal of my post
That is a sweet truck. I would probably pay up to $2,000 for it.
Here is what I find unique: V8, AC, power brakes, and bucket seats. It also has a period-correct grille guard on it, which you really don't see very often. You really didn't see many high optioned trucks in 67, it seems that the early 70's you would find more and more highly optioned trucks, but in 67 that just hadn't hit yet. I think you have found a unique truck, that a lot of people would be happy to own. What other options are on the truck? Do you have a picture of the SPID?

Re: removal of my post
there is no rust it ,is automatic, bucket seats, air, even though I offered 2000, but he kinda laughed and said hed rather burn it, so a few days later i asked him what he wanted, he said I dont know nothing less then 3500, so I told him I would take care of it and not resell it unless i was in financial trouble, and said it would be going to a good home, then I told him I could give him 3000, and he told me he has to think on it, see this truck has been on a long journey in the 40 years since hes had it, he traveled all over the USA as a printer and worked in different towns from a union back in the 60's and 70's befor making palmdale his home since 71, he had an old airstreem at one point, so its just a waiting game now as he plans on moving in a few months, I just want to paint it and redo interior and tires.. probably keep it as original as possible, I just dont want to overpay, because he doesnt know the worth of the truck

Re: removal of my post
It has a ton of potential with very little effort. Do you care if its a LWB? If your good with that, I would show up 2800 in cash and slap it in his hand. If he balks, ask him to split the difference. Cash is a good ice breaker, and will usually close the deal.

Re: removal of my post
It looks like it's all there and pretty much stock. IMHO it's worth every bit of $3,500.

Re: removal of my post
I honestly think $3500 is to someone who plans to keep it and not flip it. Pay the man if you really want it. I know I am likin what I see on that truck. GO FOR IT!

Re: removal of my post
I would give him a few days and get back with him. If he hasn't made up his mind I would counter offer.
As mentioned this is a very nicely optioned truck and with very little rust. Buckets AC Auto V8 For a 67 that is a RARE combo. Good luck

Looks like something that would go for $2500-3000 in my neck of the woods.

Without some real pictures it is hard to say but based on these, I agree as well.
