Re: reverse lights

my 66 had them...but they were ugly, and the hole was better suited for my LED tail lights.
My truck is loud as all hell, and with the stall it only likes to back up at about 1mph.....if you can't see me backing out, your brain dead.

Mine doesn't. They must have been filled in.

Another possible explanation: older fenders will bolt right on!

Re: reverse lights

Here, a member used a momentary switch to turn on the reverse lights when shifting into reverse:

Re: reverse lights

I'm looking for the Nuts or nut clips that attach the Backup lights to the bed on a 66 fleetside LB.... New or used any ideas? The ones I tried to use had a coating on them and they would not electrically bond the light fixture to the body.... AND I can't find my originals =(( Thanks!

Re: reverse lights

Use them and add a ground wire to the lamp body. I've added ground wires to every light socket on mine, makes life much easier.
