Re: Craigslist find..

That might be a bit on the spendy side for that much body damage. With both rear quarters needing major repairs that one is going to take some real work to fix.

I had a 57 swb panel for a year or so when I lived in Texas that was one of the handiest rigs I've ever owned although it probably got the worse gas mileage of anything I've ever owned with a built 327 in it.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: Craigslist find..

the second one has some possibilities. My guess is that a reasonable amount of crisp $100.00 bills waved under his nose would buy it The Clear title is worth something in it's self these days when you see so many without titles for the same asking price.

Re: Craigslist find..

Just IMO:

#1 well overpriced for that rough, especially considering what is available already "done". I would have to have MII, 350, 400t, a/c, tilt, power windows, nice interior, etc.

#2 def closer on dollars. That would be fun to drive with the minimal work. With Christmas coming, should get it for $1200.

More(not really great deals):
