What is so special about the K5?

so if it is nothing special in the difference what is the problem with the thread that I supplied. I read your original question and I replied with that thread for the answer. in that thread is also a K5 axle installation in a 65 frame. Jon's installation is the same basically, just a bigger rear axle housing-dia-3/4t.

you didn't say what year you k5 was. there are some differences'
I presume that you are also going to use the blazer suspension. there is a difference in spring size depending on which year it comes from. In Jon's applcation and the other they are from 73-87 variety except for Jon's. they used that suspension until 91 in suburbans.
