Fender Question
So I got my 1970 GMC truck back from the body shop and the right front GMC V-8 1500 emblem was on crooked and the front chrome eyebrow piece does not fit correctly either. I know there is a differece between the Chevrolet and GMC fenders, what are those differences?

Re: Fender Question
The differences would not effect your problems. The boy lines at the front of the GMC are different like a 68 Chevy around the front grille opening where the moulding attaches. Most likely it they have installed a new fender, the holes are not there if I remember correctly. So they had to have drilled them at them shop, or they[the holes] were there and the stamper put them in crooked and that idea is not far fetched either. Jim

Re: Fender Question
The fender emblem is a quick fix, elongate the stud holes a little. The emblem should hide the holes. As far as the eyebrow goes if it is a repop it probably won't fit worth a dam as the stamping is junk. Loosen the nuts inside the fender and move it around until your happy. I spent several hours getting mine where I wanted them to be.
