headers...
I am currently installing a 454 in my 64 suburban. My block hugger headers dont fit in the frame rail. Does anybody know if headers from a 1972 C-10 will work? Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: headers...
Most people I've seen here are using 68-72 big block headers and/or chevelle headers.
I used headers from a 73-87 BBC truck. |

Re: headers...
They will work with no frame trimming?

Re: headers...
Mine fit with absolutely NO issues at all. I can't speak on the chevelle style or the 68-72 style headers. I just know people here constantly suggest them.

Re: headers...
I used '73-'87 Hedman hedders on my Burb, but I did trim the top flange of the frame, just like the '68 and up trucks. The '68 and up truck frame top flanges are trimmed back to allow clearance for the big block exhaust manifolds.

Re: headers...
Welcome to the site! We spend alot of time down in Broken Bow...wife's family is all there and we got a little place down on Mountain Fork we like to hang at during the summer.
Check my burb build for details, but we dropped a BBC in our 66 with late 60's chevelle headers.
