steering hub question
ive seen a few guys put cavalier and camaro steering wheels in their trucks. not for me, i do want to run an aftermarket steering wheel, but not the typical grant style.
what is the hub on the 73-87 c10's compatible with? same as camaro? same as s10? thanks for the insight. |

Re: steering hub question
It's just gm's generic splines shaft. Grant has many many styles. I have a grant in mine and love it. Nice and thick and not big an thin like a bus

Re: steering hub question
I think most any GM wheel from around that era will work. If you get one from a pull a part place, get all of the stuff that connects the horn.
I replaced the sticky wheel in my 75 with one from a early 80's Blazer for $5. Considered a Grand Am wheel but the Pontiac emblem just seemed wrong. |

Re: steering hub question
well, im going with a japanese wheel called "grip royal" its a generic 6 hole hub style, and im just trying to figure our what hub adapter i need ie: s10, camaro, grand am, cavalier, are all offered, just trying to figure out which one to buy, that will fit the c10, because c10 isnt listed.
http://griproyal.bigcartel.com/produ...er-royal-grain i had one of these in my drift car, and loved it. very classic vibe to it. |

Re: steering hub question
Looks like a copy of a factory corvette wheel.
Edit: http://www.grantproducts.com/products/view/77/ Price isn't bad though on the royal. How was the build quality? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: steering hub question
Camaro.
Grant has a billet 6 hole adapter that will work as well for the universal/momo hub 6he wheel I was reading up on them. Apparantly they aren't real wood rather than just dipped and brushed. Maybe I will try one in my k5 and stepper. I like my grant but you can tell its press cut and all the edges are sharp. Kinda sucks when the tires catch something and the wheel whips you and it's your finger open. Wonder what their size is in inches? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: steering hub question
Gm has a universal spline hub so Camaro van blazer truck and such all can use the same steering wheel
Look for a gm column to momo hub adapter Posted via Mobile Device
