Attn, 4x4 owners with a-c

i picked another original vacuum pod spacer bracket, mounts on the evaporater suitcase and moves the vacuum pod up and out. most 4x4s with a-c don't have this bracket anymore for some reason. my 2 trucks with a-c still have them and i picked up an extra so i'm offering it here before it goes to ebay. $20.00 plus mail.

Matthew,
if you open your hood and look on the evaporator suitcase you should see a round vacuum pod screwed onto the side. on a 4x4 without this bracket the pod will rub on the a-c lines on the rear of the compressor. as i said earlier, most 4x4s have had the bracket removed for some reason. both my 4x4s still have them and i recently sold one to greenhorn male for his 4x4.
if it doesn't sell here ,it'll be on ebay in a few days--just as soon as my picture taker gets around to shooting some pics and posting the ad.

Talking

Jerry,

Thanks for explaining the need for the bracket. My son's 4x4
Burb with ac has the bracket and everything is apart right now so we did not understand the need for the bracket. I understand the need now and it makes sense.

Thanks!

Jim

Thanks!

Thanks from me as well Jerry. I had to run out back and take a look before dark to see if mine were still there.(they were) It's funny, a lot of times the little things that are overlooked by a rookie like myself. Learn something new everyday. I'll check the ones on the lower side of the hill in the morning to see if I have an extra or two.
