boring stuff !
guys, i have to change my outer tie rods on my 69 BUT as it has been converted to disc brake by PO god knows, when my Q. is -- are the conversions all to late model disc brake (71 onward) and does this change the tie rod to 71 or are they still 69 model ? is there a difference between 69 and 71 tie rods?

Tie rods are different.
67-70 71-72 73-87 What year front spindles do you have?
