Re: Aftermarket Tachometer
I have a digital one installed where the stock clock is located. It even has a high RPM memory recall button.

Re: Aftermarket Tachometer
What brand and part number is it too if you can recall? I have been thinking if doing something like that as well.

Re: Aftermarket Tachometer
Well I was going to use a stock location where my brake lamp is, but then I remember its part of the plastic and I'd have to drill through it and what not. So I decided to go with a 3 3/8" tach and just put it on my steering column, which is looks good, because when its in drive, it sits right in the middle of my speedometer and fuel guage and I can still see over it. I will eventually put a 5" guage but I have to save up a nice chunk of change for that.

Re: Aftermarket Tachometer
prev. owner had a bobblehead screwed & glued to the dashpad, so i mounted mine there. when the new dashpad gets here, it will be migrating to the windshield pillar.

Re: Aftermarket Tachometer
Yeah I was planning to put mine on the pillar myself but one of my wires wasn't long enough for me to put it there so I have to have it on my column for now, I probably could of found some extra wire and soldered it together but I didn't oh well, maybe something I can do in the future.
