C100 connector and oil pressure

can this oil pressure switch be used for an aftermarket gauge?

anybody know what signal it has? only the one tan/wht wire on it.

i know most people get oil pressure from the drivers side of the oil pan by drilling the 1/8"NPT hole and adding the sending unit there.

i was just wondering if this sensor was usable.

Generally you should use the sender that came with your gauge for accuracy reasons. But you could try it I suppose, wouldn't hurt anything to try.

Re: C100 connector and oil pressure

yeah i was hoping someone knew what scale it was, like gas tanks are 0 to 90 ohm sending units, i was wondering if this would be the same.

you know 0-10vdc would equal 0-100psi, something like that. might not match my gauge but just wonder what it was.
