Re: What is it?
It is stored vacuum to control your blend doors fo factory a/c. If you have removed your factory a/c you dont need it.

Re: What is it?
No it doesn't. Without it every time the engine vacuum drops the blend doors in the AC box will change. If the OP is no longer using the factory AC controls he can loose it, otherwise he should keep it. It doesn't affect engine performance at all.

Re: What is it?
I plan to keep the factory A/C.. Cruise will be aftermarket DD.. So does it just go to intake vacuum and thats it? Any check valve?

Re: What is it?
Yes, it should have a while three nipple (ha ha I said nipple) check valve. It's right before the ball. It's on the vacuum hose to the intake. The ball is a vacuum reservoir. It should have vacuum on it all the time with the engine running if the check valve is working.

Re: What is it?
So it has a T with a check valve and the T goes to intake And to that little vacuum line that goes through the firewall under dash?

Re: What is it?
If I remember correctly, the big side is connected to the intake. the L end has one connection to the ball, the other to accessory line. Accessory line being cruise vacuum or vent actuator line.
