Extended Brake Lines

I Have a 85 K5 blazer with 9-10" of suspension lift but I need new brake lines that go from the frame to caliper. Does anyone have any experience with extended brake lines or know where to get decent ones from? Any help is Appreciated

Mine did not have as much lift and I used Russell Performance. The packaged kits only lists stock and then 4" lift for that year but they have pre-assembled universal ones.

They were purchased by Edelbrock so you can get them from just about any online retailer or retail chain. I purchased mine through Summit.

We've built layer upon layer of strength and protection into our all new, exclusive top-quality, DOT-approved extended braided stainless steel brakeline kits!
They have a tough teflon tube at the core, but the next layer is a Kevlar braid, then an extra protection layer, the stainless braid, and then the protective outer vinyl cover. The fittings are all one piece crimp fittings and lines are DOT spec!

if that doesnt suit you then try superlift or skyjacker

I've been thinking about the ORD lines and just do it the right way the first time instead of jerry rigging an extended one and piecing it together. Its expensive for brake lines but at least with ORD you get a rear with it too

It's not cheap at $127 but like you say that's for all three lines so not too bad.

I stopped by a hose shop today, and they guy had some extensions. I'm looking for some extension or longer lines for the front on my 79 k10.

Would it be a bad idea to use a universal extension instead of replacing the whole line?

Go to an industrial hose shop and they can make you nice ones out of stainless braid

Go to your local parts store and ask for a set for a 94 c 2500 7200gvwr. They are 6" longer than stock square hoses. The ones for a 8600gvwr are only 2" longer. Cut the bracket off and bend the hard line a little. I picked up a pair from advanced for 18$. I use these often but haven't tried them for a 10" lift.
