hard time findin a lift out motor
So ive been callin around to all the salvage yards around here all this morning tryin to find me a ls motor and trans and cant find anything. The only place that has em is st james auto parts in Missouri but they want $1600...not a bad price... but im tryin to get one for about $800.... maybe $850...I don't know where else to look...tryin to do a budget swap.

$800 for both with decent mileage is awfully cheap. I got a brother in law deal on my pullout, and still spent $1500.

I wanted to get one from just chevy trucks but the shipping is killer...from maine to south Dakota...i'm checkin ebay, cl,car-part.com....hope I find something soon.

Try car-part.com plenty of yards on there. What part of SD you in? I'm right over the boarder.

im in Sisseton...I found some yards on car-part...I tried to find yards close by...the closest ones are in Aberdeen and Huron and they both don't have lift out motors...they just sell the motor as block and heads.

I just got a 5.3 from bow auto parts compleat shipped to my work with shipping isurance for like 1100. Shipping was like 300 of it. Motor came with everything.
