suspension lift help for a 67k10

I posted this question earlier, but in the wrong thread. I have a 67K10 shortbed I would love to put a new set of wheels and tires along with a suspension lift on. This will be my first attempt at altering the suspension on a truck and welcome all and any advice.

4" of suspension lift and a 33" or 35" tire are what I have my sights on, but am unsure which will work best. The truck will not see any bone jarring offroad use and I am running a strong stroker engine, so turning a 35" tire wont be a ppoblem.

Also, are there any pro's or con's in going to a 15" while vice a 16"? Thanks for the help!

Well installing a lift is really pretty easy till you get tp replacing the sterring arm Make sure you have some good spray lube and a sleg hammer It can be a pain in the butt sometimes but some- times they are semple to remove. But just dont short cut and not put a raised sterring- arm on becouse you will have bump sterring and that sucks so I would do it right the first time. If the truck is not going to do some heavy off-roading then stick with a all-terrian tire b/c the mud- tire will wear out quick on the street. Been there done that and it can get costly buy new tires. What kind of lift are you going to get? there are alot of good lifts on the market so you have a lot of choices well Thats my two cents have fun.

I just bought a Skyjacker kit and a cool rear shackle kit I found here ..... http://www.offroaddesign.com/catalog/shacklekit.htm

Ordered new brake hoses for it today and while I am waiting for all the parts to get here I am going to start liberally applying lubricant to all the pieces that need to come apart.

This truck isn't a daily driver so I am going to try and do her up right.... thanks for all your suggestions. As this is my first attempt at a suspension lift all your comments are welcome.

Well you bought on of the best lifts on the market. You should have no promblems with it well good luck on the install and have fun.
