Anybody here use the Grant Kustoms hood hinge?

I found this surfing the net.

Just wondering if anybody on here has use the Grant Kustoms hood hinge? Pics and feedback would be great. My truck is bagged and I looking for something that'll work for me since $400 dollar hinges are out of the question right now.

i have them but my truck is now in pieces.. price was good but no adjustability what so ever.. and no mock up sheet or anything.. you are on your own. i got them before porterbuilts were out on the market.. i would save up the money and but porterbuilt hinges

If you don't mind welding and making a set work 3rd gen f body will do.You would have to mount them on the fenders but they fold down flat about 2 inches thick but you will have to use a prop rod or rig up a gas shock system to keep the hood up.

I have only seen a couple trucks that have installed them, but I remember hearing that they worked well. I think username "5windowpickup" installed them on his 68. Do a search in the 67-72 projects and builds section and you should find it.

Also.... (shameless plug) Our standard hinges run $265. You can always upgrade to the gas assist at a later date.

mine worked good and did what the are made to do but from having them on for a few years now..i say go with porterbuilt
