Did the 1969 to 1972 Pickups and Blazers have a rear tow hook option?

No, rear tow hooks were never an option on these years. The GMC Accessory catalog did list a pair of rear mounted hooks that a customer could buy or have a dealer install. They were a hook that GM had used since the early 1940s starting on GM built military vehicles. Over the years they were always offered in the GMC accessory catalog and on some trucks they would give a front or rear suggestion on mounting. I don't think they were a "bolt-on" in any of the trucks and usually just came with a set of instructions giving different placements and usually a diagram showing a simple bracket that could be fabricated for mounting.

Med duty trucks ,wrecker / tow truck supplies ,ebay will have them but will be a little different.
