front brake adjustment?

This morning I got in my truck and drove down the street and the truck is pulling hard to the RIGHT...it wasn't doing it yesterday but since I got the truck it pulled hard to the LEFT every time you hit the brakes..... Any suggestions? I've already checked all the the tire pressure and its all good. Thanks in advance

Replace them both and start from square one....it's probably best to replace the hoses too. They collapse internally over time and you can't tell it from the outside.

I don't disagree with this plan, but if you don't have the funds or the calipers look good do the hoses first. Most of the time that will cure it.

I have made it a practice to always replace the hoses when replacing calipers.

Do you guys have any preferences for websites I can buy parts for this truck from.....I want to get some braded stainless steal hoses so LMC wouldn't be a resource I'd want to use....sites with after market stuff

I would second on the Summit. Although I only bought the rear brake line kits. They were stainless. The axle lines were $31.50 and from the rear end up to the front was $45. Then there was the front hard line kit which I didn't order. I think it was something like $91. The brand was "Right Stuff Detailing". In case anyone wanted to know.

Honestly as cheap as calipers are at your local parts store might as well replace them while your in there. I think for both mine I paid $24 I got a good deal on rotors and hoses from Rockauto.com I think I had less than $60 total in all that

Well I'll have to check around at stores around here Napa tends to be pricey even for there own brand of things...m definitely going with summit for a few things already because how much cheaper they are

I used to be a diehard Napa parts user. Here in the last few years it seems like there brakes have really suffered though. I like to shop local but the prices are a bit more. Here lately I have been buying online for the price. Some of the stores say they will beat anybodies prices but when you mention Summit or somebody like that then it is a different story.

I saved over $100 on my front suspension parts through Summit and they were the same brand parts. Let alone I added on a drop kit and all new steering components. Probably saved $3-400 by going through Summit. I called RockAuto and they didn't have what I needed. I don't have any other experience with them. I am sure they are great to work with. I hear alot of good things about them here on the boards.

Sorry for the rant. Just my expereince.

Yea I agree I usually like to search around real hard for low prices before I buy...online has been my best experience so far

you can always break loose the bleeder screw and try to push the piston back into the caliper, if is pushes back with the bleed screw open than the line is bad, but if you cant push it back than the caliper is stuck, BUT like thes guys said always replace the hoses with the caliper if you do replace it its what you call CYA if ya know what a mean, ive had some jobs at work come back and bite me in the butt becouse of a collasped hose, also if the hoses are realy old and dryrotting they need to be replaced anyways. good luck bud

Well I didn't do much today because the weather is horrible but just for a small update I jacked both front tires up of the ground and they both drag alittle...is this normal? It seems to be a consistent equal drag on both sides. By drag I mean when I spin the wheel when its in the air

There will be a small amount of drag on a disc if the pads are touching. I agree that your problem may just be the front hoses to the discs. If the truck is pulling to the left, then it is probably the right hose is failing and restricting fluid to the disc. Replace both and do a purge of air from the brakes on the front. Your problems may be cured that easily.
