Anybody know the length of a 1968 C10 Stepside shortbed?
Getting ready to recieve my new (used) 1968 C10 Stepside shortbed. Bought it online in Cali and its being shipped to Florida. Anyways Im making room in my garage and it dawned on me I need to be sure how much room I have for this truck in there. Anyone know the length Bumper to Bumper for a 1968 C10 Stepside shortbed? I have about 16.5ft of room to park it. Your input is appreciated.

Thanks! It should fit just perfect then...Worst case senario is I have a concrete step running along the back of the garage wall I may have to notch it a little to make the truck fit perfect. I think Im good though.

Funny how often this sort of question pops up. This is from 68 GM data book and should cover sizing questions.

Quote:
Misread that as 16'7" At 15'7" (187") you are an 1 1/2" short. At 15.7' (188.4") you are still short a 1/10th". Remember the measurements are without any optional or aftermarket bumper hitch or bumper guards.

As long as she fits in there we are good! I have other places I can work on her at. Probably gonna lose the rear bumper eventually anyways.
