Choosing new shocks, possibly coils too
Ok you guys, so I have a 1986 Chevy Silverado. I bought it as is. Well I decided to replace the upper/lower ball joints, and the control arm bushings. The current "ride" sucks badly. When I hit bumps it bounces, going 70 miles to the next town, if I hit a bump the front end will bounce quit a bit. To fix the problem I decided I would replace the shocks, the current shocks look like the white factory shocks. My truck was lowered by previous owners. I believe they just cut the coils because I don't see spindles. I need help and advice on shocks & new coils. I just want my Chevy to ride nice n smooth, well as much as possible. If I need to take pics or take measurements I will. Thank you in advance!! -Samuel

Re: Choosing new shocks, possibly coils too
Are you going to lower your truck any more?
Can you post some pics of the front suspension?
