Vintage Air Radiator Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am ready to bite the bullet and order a Vintage Air kit for my '63. My original radiator is shot and is held together with Stop Leak so need to replace that too. What is the best radiator for the $$ that is a direct bolt in for use with my application? Crate 350/350 turbo and A/C.

A lot of forum members talk about the Champion brand off of EBay, you might check with the forum vendors like Pro Performance.

My Mattson radiator was made to bolt directly to the core support for a no-hassle installation. I didn't have to re-engineer anything to make it fit. It came complete with a trans cooler, a/c condenser, an electric fan with a shroud, a bung for the fan thermostat, and even a steam line connection for a EFI motor.

I have a champion, it bolted right in but did need some tweeking of the rubber in the mounts. everything else fit perfectly and cooled my truck well.

If I remember correctly it was around $800.00.

I have used www.Alumarad.com in the past- good fit and decent price- direct bolt in for '63-'66 is around $240 with trans cooler.
