Quick question about sport bumper - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Scored a sport bumper off an 88 burb from a guy on here. I know the inner brackets wont work but will the outers be enough to hold the bumper on sturdy until I get the inners? Its goin on my 74 fleetside.

I have run mine like that for awhile now with no issues, but beware it wont match your front bumper, you would need a suburban or van rear sport bumper from a 73-80 to math your front one.

oh yeah I know...I don't mind it...it'll be way better than the one that's on it now.
