Re: Ideas for a 72 chevy longbed?
I would search google for images of trucks. See lots of them in one area, and pick and choose what you like from each.

Re: Ideas for a 72' chevy longbed?
I have a ton of ideas and I'm sure you do,too. I see you just joined, welcome to the site! I suggest you browse and search around for a while. You'll see plenty and about anything that's been done before.
To give better ideas for what "you" want, why don't you lay out your general idea of what you want from your resto mod.

Re: Ideas for a 72' chevy longbed?
before entering into a project have realistic goals that you can actually afford/// alot of guys run out of money after 5years of a torn apart vehicle and have never had the joy of drivin it once around the block

Re: Ideas for a 72 chevy longbed?
I've got a 72 lwb and just picked up a mild rear coil over set up from PB and I'm just waiting to order my front coil over. Trying to get a 5/7 or 6/8 static drop. I'll throw up some pictures soon as it gets in.

Re: Ideas for a 72 chevy longbed?
before and after. No major expenses... just fixing small things, trim, emblems, steel wheels, interior bits and LOTS of labour and elbow grease. I wanted to go for a clean, stock look with a bit of hotrod style.

Re: Ideas for a 72 chevy longbed?
THIS IS NOT MINE. This is a members truck- I forget his name- he popped on then I haven't seen any posts in a long while but I really dig the low-budgetedness(my own term) of it.
Just a found truck, running then bagged with some wheels and drive the pee out of it.. Check it out, hope he doesn't mind I posted his pics.
