Wood1 sent me some sweet rear lights, but I am puzzled.
Can I set these up for all three functions and eliminate my seperate blinkers? Thanks guys!! |

Re: Tail lights....brake lights......and blinkers
Here is a diagram I found. The brake and turn use the same wire at the light. This shows how it is wired thru the turn signal switch. I found it by googling 1954 chevy truck turn signal diagram, it was on the first line of photos.

Re: Tail lights....brake lights......and blinkers
The guys over at Classic Truck forum suggested replacing the tail light socket with a dual element tail light socket and a 1154 dual element bulb.

Yes. As OrrieG indicated in the diagram, the two wires are hooked up.. one for running lights and the other to blinker/brake. the grounding is completed by bolting the unit to your truck.
