New 1975 Jimmy Owner

I've only posted a few times on the 67-72 side, just bought a 1975 GMC Jimmy 2 wheel drive blazer! One original owner, been parked 6 years since owner passed. Super straight only one very small rust spot on lower driver door. All orig, owner did drive it a lot so it needs all interior replaced. No dents at all, and essentially absolutely rust free. I've always wanted a full convertible Blazer, the 69-72 have gotten very expensive. I like the 73-75 style and I think I got it at a tremendous price. It's hugger orange (for lack of real name) with red interior. It's filthy right now and it just might clean up well enough to leave the paint alone. I'll redo the interior in black.
Can anyone point me to a vendor that sells the good dash pad replacements and a fair price, among other things for a 75.

That was a good thing about it also, my shop is in Upland and the truck was only 4 miles away in Ontario!

Hasn't been washed in 7 years. I think the paint will rub out. It only has some small primer showing thru on the front hood edge and the a pillar. I will do the entire interior, maybe the engine too.

Dang...that thing is rad! I love the old 70's color schemes especially with a patina. Just gotta loose the running boards.

I like the wheels too, but I am a little biased. I need that exact truck.

Bought 18x8 and 18x9.5 gray ridlers, truck is still in progress, so to speak. I don't get a lot of time after working most of the day.

Was looking on CL for a shop truck and this was posted for $3000, about 3 miles from my shop. I went and the kid offered it for $2500 so I snatched it up. My 2 requirements for a Jimmy/Blazer-Calif non smog (pre 76) and full convert 2 wd, just made both. Finally got the new gas tank in so I'll fire it up and see if it runs well enough to leave the engine in.
