72 Highlander for sale (ad) - not mine
I was looking into this truck, considered buying, but am gonna pass - already have one med olive truck that I can't seem to find the time to work on so this would have only made me feel more lazy! so thought I'd pass this along. Personally, I believe it's a good deal. I received the SPID from the seller and it is indeed a Highlander B package truck. Seller was firm on $2800, and I would be too. Steering wheel is a bit crusty, and perhaps indicative, or perhaps not. Either way, I think it's probably worth the asking price, but over to you all - but if you like Highlanders, they aren't very common, and not in decent condition like I think this one is - would need work, but a great starting point. If it sounds like I'm trying to promote it - I'm not, I just really like this ol thing. You can be your own judge of course. Seller is a dealer and was responsive to my call/email.

Nice truck. I left a message today (sunday) about it. Love to have it. Thing is, I didn't know Chevy made a "5" cylinder 350 engine!!

Looks like the same caps that are on my Highlander.
That is a swell pickup, and I think that is a fair asking price. |

Re: 72 Highlander for sale (ad) - not mine
I looked at it and would love to have the bed and tailgate. The cab and doors are rusty but it real bad. It would need a drivers side corner and probably kick panels and outer rockers. It has had plywood on the floor since it was new and the tailgate is in the back as shown. The build sheet is between the tank and seat. For 90k miles, the seat is in pretty nice shape. I believe the truck was donated and they are just trying to sell/auction it off for the charity. Unfortunately, it sat out in our weather.
It would be an easy resto. Since they are a dealer, I think you would need to pay the WA state sales tax and licensing fees. Mike, this is the truck I told you I was looking to get the doors off of. I would buy it and part it if the doors were better. Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by John H.; 03-27-2013 at 12:32 AM. |
