Thinking about red Interior with silver?
So I’m in the process of fixing the truck again and I’m thinking about doing a red interior but I’m not sure how I will like it. I’ve seen it done in cars but not sure about in a truck. I’m afraid it’s gonna look odd. Does anyone have a good example?
This is it currently. Sorry I dont have any good pic

Re: Thinking about red Interior with silver?
I think it would look good. Maybe a deeper and darker red would be a good complement. Dark Cherry or Burgundy comes to mind.

Re: Thinking about red Interior with silver?
It has been done on some cars. Looks great. Here is a 1996 Collector Edition Corvette

I think it looks great the way it is, but red probably wouldn't look too bad

Re: Thinking about red Interior with silver?
I think it looks great how it is. Are you just itching to do a project or something? This is a real pita to do. I just changed my interior color. I had multiple different shades of mismatched dark blue that they no longer produce, and needed to replace my dash pad, so I just went with black.
You, on the other hand, have an already awesome looking interior. I'd just leave it Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Thinking about red Interior with silver?
That's a hot combo and was very popular in sports cars of the '50s & '60s. It was offered in these trucks, too. My buddy has a '57 Belair convertible that came with that combo.

Thanks for bringing this thread back up. I am going to do the interior in my '70 SWB Red. I like the darker red with the silver... It makes it look classy. LockDoc

Re: Thinking about red Interior with silver?
X2..they used to have some neat combos in the 50s and 60s. Now everything is charcoal or grey...
