1970-72 K20 Frame Dimensions
I have recently purchased a group of project trucks. Among the items I bought include a k20 frame that was hit in the side and is slightly tweaked. I'm wondering if anyone has frame measurements/dimensions for a 1970-72 K20 frame? I'm currently in an auto collision program at a tech college in WI and my Instructor is thinking about letting me use my bent frame on the schools frame rack. I would like to find some dimensions to go off of while I straighten it to make it easier and precise. I've been searching the internet and haven't found what I'm looking for yet so I thought I would check on this website. If anyone could help me out and lead me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.
Thanks! |

Re: 1970-72 K20 Frame Dimensions
Welcome to the board!
The information you need will be in the factory "chassis service manual" section 2 for any of those years. Look up KA209 for a K20. Go to this link and download a manual. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=558016 The online resource is great to have but the manuals do have image degradation. Otherwise I would just post the relevant pages up for you. But this is what you can expect for information. Now you owe us a picture or several of your trucks.
