Need pics 66 th400 kick down harness
Looking for what the kick down harness looks like for the turbo400 on a 66.. I have a box of spaghetti to look through and dont know what it looks like.

Isn`t the 65 / 66 th-400 a mechanical linkage, I thought that they didnot start electic kickdown until the 70`s....
Here`s a pic of a 70`s kick down switch if that helps

i know this truck was stock as my gramps gave it to me and he always took great care of his stuff. This is what the switch looks like.

Wiring color should be the same, looks to be red and pink with a plug in your harness..

orange yellow wire orange to trans ,yellow to wiper motor

the bracket and switch are correct from ride blue. the turbo 400 (375) trans used that setup in 1966 one side of the bracket mounts to the rear carb stud the other mounts to the coil bolt hole

Exactly as Yelmer states as I am taking the original T400 out of my 66 C20 parts truck now and trying to duplicate a totally correct install in the C10 swb. That yellow wire on the 2 terminal kickdown switch you have pictured has a single black plug and goes up to the grommet in the center of firewall in the same grommet the oil line passes through and then inside over to the wiper motor and will have a 2 connector jumper wire end of a yellow wire and a blue wire to go in between wire harness and the wiper motor plug in.
Mine is missing the orange single wire that runs down to the terminal on tranny. Trying to find the wire or just the correct plug in for the tranny to make up this wire. e

factory fit wiring harness, have the wire, I gave them mine a few years back they copied it. they now have it in there catalog .
