Hey Wes!
What happens when your new ignition switch won't quite turn and you force it just enough to stress the key just past bending? Well, when you try and bend it back, it snaps right off flush in the tumbler. What happens next? You have to get out your Big drill and drill out the key and tumbler. What happens when that big bit jams? That big drill just keeps on spinning... Until you hand and arm stop it from spinning.
Saving your expensive dash paint and getting the blanking ignition switch out? Priceless. Braking you flipping hand? I guarantee not priceless. ![]() I'll be calling you to buy some new ignition pieces tomorrow. ![]() Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Hey Wes!
Wow Tom!! I am speachless! I knew you were having trouble installing the tumbler, but this is crazy... I will get another ignition switch, tumbler and bezel shipped to you ASAP. I will check to see that they go together before I send them though.

Re: Hey Wes!
I was drilling into some angle iron from a ladder and the bit stuck and my Milwaukee v28 cordless puts out up to 600lbs of torque.. When it stuck I thought my hand was broken and took a battery to the temple and fell from the ladder.. Nothing was broken but it sure hurt like hell.. Gotta love those powerful drills!

Re: Hey Wes!
I have a 1/2" air drill that if it sticks something or someone is going to spin. Don't ask me how I know or how many times I have been reminded.
