How to replace Vent Window Seal?
Can anybody tell me how to replace the vent window seal?
The rubber seal is rivetted onto the assembly? Do I just drill them out, and replace it with new rivets? Or is there a trick do do it? Please let me know! Thanks in advance. Cya, Edmond

Yes,
Drill out the rivits, there is some tricks to getting them just right. I think that the rivits need to be a certain type and the rivit gun needs to reach into a narrow channel. There is also a centering tool for the rivits offered by some of the vendors. If the hinge or pivot rivit is good leave it and reuse it. I did mine a while back and just took my time. They seal great now. I also had a spare vent assembly to practice on. Have fun
