Warped pully?
Ladies and Gentleman,
My bottom pulley is warped. It bounces around. I got the truck timed the other day and the mechanic was fairly sure that it wasnt the harmonic balancer. I went to the junk yard to get a new one and came home with one off of a mid 70's caprice but it messed up the belt alignment really bad. Has anybody tackled this problem? Should I just go with aftermarket pulleys all around? If I do find a set should I also take the power steering pump pulley? Thanks everybody. Last edited by vectorit; 04-15-2013 at 10:32 PM. |

Re: Warped pully?
Well, I'm cheap so I'd probably take mine off and keep searching the junk yards or craigslist. But, some on here might suggest a new pulley set up altogether. I guess part of it might just depend on whether or not you're concerned with the look. Sorry, I don't have any pulleys that would fit that or I'd help you out.
