Need antenna mount location, template no help
I"m afraid the location of the hole is critical and the template tells me to,
"position the template flush with the cowl line" and "flush with the mirror bracket" The trouble is, I have removed the mirror and filled the holes. If someone could give me a measurement I would appreciate it. Just remember, the only points of reference are the cowl line and the driver's side windshield wiper. 51 chevy

Re: Need antenna mount location, template no help
I have it under the headliiner and have tried it in several places inside with no results. It's going to have to be mounted on the cowl. Also it's not a side mount antenna and even if it was It would be impossable to mount it there because my fuse box covers that area. My heater covers the right side so no
there.

Looked though the pictures and saw that i cut a hole on the inside wall to be able to get to the nut that bolts the antenna to the side of the cowl.. the top nut i was able to reach it by going over the top over the inside wall. covered up the hole with a plate and all was good..
