Slack in rear axle
I seem to have a little slack in my rear axles. I can grab the tire, and pull it in and out and I hear a "clunk clunk" It is not much, maybe 1/4"-1/2". Is this normal?
If not, what would be the fix? Isn't there some sort of clip in the diff that holds the axles in? Or maybe bearings?

Does it make a "clunk" when you shift into reverse? Mine does.

It does clunk when I put it in gear.
I can also grap the top of the tire, with the truck still on the ground, and rock the truck and hear the clunk of the slack in the axle or at least I ASSume that is where it is coming from.
