Power steering box cheap !
I don't know if I am late on finding this or early ,a cheap power steering box with a good warranty and easy to get . I have a 66 chevy c10 with the power steering brackets so you can use a later steering box like a 1971 c10. I was in pep boys and looked at a 71 c10 box and it was exactly like the ones they sell for $200-300 . This one is $128 with 58.00 core. The part number is #51-7501. I bought it and it works great , plus it has a nice black finish . Hope this help somebody !

Re: Power steering box cheap !
That is a good deal. I got an A1Cardone Rebuilt from O'Rielly's here 2 years ago for around $180 and thought I got a deal! LOL! I salvaged it from my '69 C30 when it got totalled and just installed in on my '65 c10. I used the c30 pitman arm and it bolted right up. I made my own adapter/spacer to bolt to the frame.

Re: Power steering box cheap !
That's not nearly as cheap as the Lares power steering box #1262 I bought through RockAuto for $110!

Re: Power steering box cheap !
The '68-'72 power steering boxes are a slower ratio than the '73-'87 power steering boxes. To some that doesn't matter, just saying.....
I have installed several used steering boxes from donor trucks with very good luck. The steering box I put on my '66 Suburban over 20 years ago, was a used box. I put over 120,000 miles on it, and it just started to leak a slight bit about 2 years ago.

Re: Power steering box cheap !
Got my '72 Fecnco box through Advance Auto. It was $124.99 + $45 core. I used online discount codes to get it for $130, practically negating the $45 core charge. If I would've had a core to return, that would've made the total $45 less, or $85!
