ATF type A
The power steering on my 66 calls for ATF type A fluid. No one locally has any. What can I use instead?
Also any idea where I can get this unit rebuilt? Thanks people. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: ATF type A
Type A superceded to DEXRON II, then to DEX III(/MERCON), so Dex 3 should work fine. I just had this little problem week before last with a customer and that's what we figured out. Hope it helps!
