Brake light flashing
I have a 91 suburban 2wd and the brake light just started flashing, any ideas on what could be causing this? Brakes, rotors are new fluid is changed.

may need to bleed em again
sounds like the proportioning valve needs to reset could pull the wire off and try

I had a similar issue and it was the emergency brake pedal and the linkages that were dropped some and the pedal would bounce a little and make the brake light flash because the spring was weak making the switch blink as it appeared the emergency brake pedal was depressed when it was only flopping some start your truck and see if the pedal has play in it

Isn't that an ABS system in that year? 90 and 91.
I had a flashing brake light in my 91 4x4 suburban and ended up being the brake module that was bad. I think there are some codes for that light too. How many flashes are you getting? long or short flashes?

I unplugged the module next to the master cylinder and that worked!
