A/C glovebox
Does anybody know if you can use the factory A/C glovebox with Vintage Air?

I don't think so. BUT my truck didn't have the stock glovebox so I can't say for sure. I am going to be mounting the V.A glovebox soon. I'd like to know if anyone thinks the VA box is too slick on the inside? I was thinking about putting something on the inside to make the surface less slippery?????
Mike

Thats the problem I have Mike. You can't put anything in the Vintage air box it's to small. It's not a box it's a wall.

All things are relative as they say, I'm thrilled at the arctic conditions in my truck since the VA system was charged, I can live with the glovebox thang. My 2 cents.
If you find out about the a/c glovebox let us know M

To help with the slick floor, I installed a 1/16 or so thick piece of rubber cut to almost fit in my steel glove box. I also did it to prevent rattles with all the junk I'll toss in there.

I had a piece of carpet in my old glovebox. I agree Mike I"ll take the cold air and give up the glovebox but I'm trying to have my cake and eat it to. GMCPaul says it won't fit. I might try it anyway. I'll let you know.
