front leaf question?
right now I have a 2 leaf pack, I have some 6 inch lift leafs. if I take the bottom spring of the lift pack and put it on the factory 2 leaf, will/could it level the front out with the back?

Re: front leaf question?
You really should not do that. It may give some lift, but it will put bad stress on the original spring at the point where the shorter leaf meets the longer one.
The manufactured "add-a-leaf" kits have long springs that run the full length of the originals for just that reason.

Re: front leaf question?
Just the bottom from the lifted pack? It might. I did this to lower a lifted truck, give it a shot...

Re: front leaf question?
Does your front spring end up with a negative arch when full weight is on the front? How much lift do you need on the front to even out with the back? There could be multiple methods here.. If you need an inch or so and have negative arch, take a relatively flat spring or just a little arch -- make it about 2/3 the length of a full length or so than the bottom spring --- place arch down and see what you have with full weight. Or if more is needed put arch up on a leaf with about same arch as you bottom spring with no weight. Or just add a spacer to get the needed additional lift. I use a stock 72 3 leaf and made it into a negative arch with a 3rd leaf inverted to get the height I wanted. If you actually do crawlin with your truck you will need to get more serious on your setup. I am no suspension expert just giving you possibilities.

Re: front leaf question?
Well I have a 2 pack straight 6 leafs in it and it drops a bit. I'm going to take 1 of the leafs in the lift pack and add it and see what it does. It's free and if it doesn't work all I have to do is take it out
