Tailgate chain/arm question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Is there a name for the plastic/vinyl piece that goes around the tailgate arm? I am talking about the protector that keeps the arm from resting directly on the bed (above the taillight) when the gate is latched and closed. It is about an inch long and protects the paint.
Whatever they are called, I need a pair and don't know where to find them.

I got a couple pieces of nylon hose sock from work, just need to stitch the ends. I could cut and send you a couple of pieces if you like, no charge. It is a black nylon fabric tube. PM me if you are interested.
