The car show and the trophy
So over the weekend, I entered my truck ...
... in the car show at the big furniture store in town. I saw a big cow. I saw a big dinosaur. I saw a guy in a penguin costume. Awards were determined by how much money each car had in their donation cup. I won my class, so I got this awesome gas pump trophy. But the third place winners got a plaque with none other than my truck on it! (It was also on the dash magnets). Well, getting a plaque with your vehicle on it is a once in a lifetime deal, so I found the guy who won this one ... ... and traded with him. Oh, and the Blues Brothers were there. Thanks for reading. |

Re: The car show and the trophy
Nice. I've had my truck in two benefit shows (raising money for fighting cancer and for a childrens program at a church) and even though it is not show quality I've come home with two trophies. There's something about these trucks that make people remin, remen, reman, oh heck remember the simpler times. Congrats.
